After more than 3 years since the Jasper Game Jam, I am pleased to announce the development of One Cake Day officially!

I made One Cake Day as an entry to the Jasper Game Jam, but there many ideas were abandoned. Mainly because the game was made in 3 days and it was the first time I used Unity, so there were not many possibilities to do something else :(

In fact, the game was just an introduction to a story with a bad and rushed ending in order to deliver on time. But in spite of that, it was well received and even appeared in the video of the best games of the Jam!

That's why I continued the project passively, since I couldn't dedicate full time to it because of the university.

But now I can finally resume the project as a full game!!!

Currently, it is being developed in Godot and already has several systems implemented, which will be more detailed in future devlogs here on Itch.io!

A más de 3 años desde la Jasper Game Jam, tengo el placer de anunciar el desarrollo de One Cake Day oficialmente!

Hice One Cake Day como entrada para la Jasper Game Jam, pero muchas ideas quedaron abandonadas. Principalmente debido a que el juego fue hecho en 3 días y era la primera vez que usaba Unity, así que no había muchas posibilidades de hacer algo más :(

De hecho,  el juego era solo una introducción a una historia con un final malo y apresurado para poder entregar a tiempo. Pero a pesar de ello, tuvo buena recepción y hasta apareció en el video de los mejores juegos de la Jam!

Por esto continue el proyecto pasivamente, ya que por la universidad no podía dedicarme tiempo completo a ello. 

Pero ahora finalmente puedo retomar el proyecto como un juego completo!!!

Actualmente, se esta desarrollando en Godot y  ya tiene varios sistemas implementados, de los que se tendrán más detalle en próximos devlogs aquí en Itch.io!
